FIELD: electrothermy; domestic and commercial heating appliances. SUBSTANCE: method for manufacturing electric heaters such as radiators, cooking appliances and drying apparatuses for materials and products includes production of resistive component based on nonwoven carbon material, attachment of metal current conductors to resistive component, installation of resistive component carrying current conductors between multilayer insulating coatings, impregnation of all layers with polymeric binder, and their jointing by compression. Fire-resistant conducting compound is applied to points of connection of current conductors prior to securing the latter so that conductor width is overlapped and upon fixation of current conductors conducting compound is applied overall with conductor width also overlapped. EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities due to improved conductor-to-resistive- component contact. 2 cl, 1 dwg, 1 tbl
