FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: innovation deals with obtaining a tamoxyfen-based preparation being one of the major up-to-date antiestrogens predominantly used at treating oncological diseases. The method to obtain tamoxyfen citrate-based preparation as tablets includes reduction, seiving and mixing of tamoxyfen, starch, lactose, addition of polyvinylpyrrolidone solution to the mixture obtained, drying of obtained granules at 50-60 C, mixing them with magnesium stearate followed by pressing and tabletting. Moreover, starch should be premixed with 0.3-0.7% starch paste, extruded at 50-60 C, obtained granules are treated with IR-radiation in a resonance mode at 0.8-1.2 mcm wave length and 20-22 kW/m2 current density. The method enables to increase biological availability of the substance due to its higher water-dissolving capacity. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 tbl
