FIELD: medicine, pharmacy. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicinal agent as tablet comprising finasteride as an active component, lactose, starch, calcium stearate and binding agent. Tablet comprises sorbitan ethoxylated ester as a binding agent of the general formula: 
where: v + x + y + z = 20; R means monopalmitate, monooleate, trioleate, linoleate and includes envelope consisting of methylcellulose, titanium dioxide and sorbitan ethoxylated ester of the above indicated formula in the following ratio of components, wt.%: core finasteride, 3-4; lactose, 80-88; sorbitan ethoxylated ester, 0.5-1.5; calcium stearate, 0.5-1.5; starch, the balance up to 100%; envelope: sorbitan ethoxylated ester, 28-36; titanium dioxide, 2-6; methylcellulose, the balance up to 100%. Invention allows to obtain simple and available form of medicinal agent as tablet comprising finasteride as an active component with envelope that enhances tablet strength in making, stability at storage and provides stability and uniform release of finasteride.
