FIELD: machine tool manufacture, namely units for optical control of vibration of technological system "machine tool- attachment-tool- part", particularly, at grinding. SUBSTANCE: apparatus including amplifier and registration device also has laser irradiator, pulse generator, lens system for focusing laser beam, highly sensitive diode matrix in the form of charge coupled device and analog-to-digital converter. Laser irradiator is in the form of semiconductor solid-state AlGaAs laser and it is connected with pulse generator. Diode matrix is connected through amplifier and analog-to-digital converter with registration device. Apparatuses for contact free measuring of vibration with use of optical devices feature small size, small power consumption, high stability of measurements, absence of alignment and minimum tuning time period, possibility for connection through analog-to-digital converters with registration device including personal computers. EFFECT: possibility for contact free measuring of vibrations of rotating and moving parts of technological system, possibility for developing active-control devices for units and parts, stability of measurement, reduced power consumption. 3 dwg
