FIELD: machine tool manufacture, namely processes and equipment for optical monitoring of vibrations of system "machine tool- attachment-tool-part" at working, particularly at grinding. SUBSTANCE: method for measuring vibrations at grinding comprises steps of measuring high-frequency oscillations; generating laser beam by means of laser diode; focusing laser beam by means of focusing lens system and guiding it onto polished mirror surface of spindle journal; sensing reflected laser beam by means of light sensitive matrix consisting of photodiodes; amplifying electric signals of photodiodes and converting them to digital signals in digital-to-analog converter; correcting received signals and applying them to registration system. EFFECT: enhanced stability of measurements and response of instruments. 3 dwg
