FIELD: inorganic compounds technology. SUBSTANCE: invention is to be applied in nonferrous metallurgy for production of nickel(I) hydroxide used in manufacture of accumulator batteries. Spherical nickel(I) hydroxide is synthesized from nickel-containing solutions in presence of complexing agents and alkali. Synthesis is conducted at steady supply of reagents while continuously withdrawing filtered liquid phase and simultaneously removing a part of suspension to maintain required solid to liquid phase balance. Apparatus consists of casing with stirring means. In its lower section, filtering barrier and suspension discharge unit are disposed, the latter being located above the level of filtering barrier. EFFECT: improved granulometric composition of product and simplified apparatus structure. 2 cl, 3 dwg
