FIELD: veterinary science. SUBSTANCE: as a disinfectant one should use an ethereal oils out of plant raw material of Lamiaceae group. It is used an ethereal oil of origanum (Origanum sp.) or that of peppermint (Mentha Pipertia). Hatchable and commercial eggs are put into disinfection chamber followed by the treatment with disinfectant - ethereal oil out of plant raw material of Lamiaceae group, for example ethereal oil of origanum or peppermint at the rate of 0.035 ml/m3 chamber at 20 min exposure. The method favors to disinfect eggs with biologically safe preparations. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 4 cl, 1 tbl
