FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves transecting anterior and posterior sheets of lesser omentum along the lesser curvature of the stomach. Retroperitoneal part of cardia, abdominal part of the esophagus and stomach fundus are mobilized. Circular myotomy of the esophagus is carried out. The lesser curvature deprived of serous membrane is sutured using isolated sutures. Seromuscular layer on the stomach is circumferentially transected to reach submucous layer 2 cm below cardiac esophageal constrictor. Stomach lumen is narrowed by applying corrugating sutures on the submucous base. Muscular layer of the superior edge of the incision is sutured to the seromuscular layer of the inferior edge of the incision on the stomach. The middle part of the esophagus is invaginated into the stomach lumen. Stomach fundus is mobilized by dissecting gastrophrenic ligament 3-4 cm distant from cardiac esophageal constrictor as particular case. Circular myotomy of the esophagus is carried out 2-3 cm above the cardiac esophageal constrictor as another particular case. EFFECT: prevented reflux esophagitis. 4 cl, 7 dwg
