FIELD: systems of remote control over nuclear and other explosions, of warning of rocket launches, of observation of seismic activity. SUBSTANCE: time series of complete electron content obtained with the aid of spatial lattice of double-frequency receivers of signals of satellite radio navigation systems GLONASS/GPS with size of aperture corresponding to Fresnel zone of source of disturbance are filtered to isolate variations of complete electron content corresponding to response of ionosphere to action of source, signals obtained after filtration are time-shifted by value Δτi and are coherently summed to obtain maximum amplitude of summary signal. Decision on detection of disturbance is made when summary signal exceeds threshold level and position of source of disturbance is found by solving system of equations describing in chosen system of coordinates a family of spherical wave fronts remote one from another by distance determined by relative time shifts Δτi of signals of individual receivers. EFFECT: increased detection sensitivity and precision in location of position of source of disturbance. 2 dwg
