FIELD: remote control over nuclear and other explosions, over rocket launches, over seismic activity. SUBSTANCE: time series of complete electron content received with the aid of spatial lattice of double-frequency receivers of signals of satellite radio navigation systems GLONASS/GPS with size of aperture corresponding to far-field zone of source of disturbance are filtered to extract variations of complete electron content corresponding to response of ionosphere to action of source. Signals obtained after filtration are timeshifted by value Δτi, and are summed coherently to produce maximum amplitude of summary signal. Decision on detection of disturbance is made when summary signal exceeds threshold value and direction of arrival and value of phase velocity of disturbance wave are found from solving of system of equations describing in chosen system of coordinates a family of flat wave fronts remote one from another by distance determined by relative time shifts Δτi, of signals of individual receivers. EFFECT: enhanced detection sensitivity and precision in determination of direction of arrival of ionospheric disturbance. 2 dwg
