FIELD: heat power industry. SUBSTANCE: heat sensitive actuating medium is placed into confined zone, heat energy is supplied from external source to working medium and expansion work of actuating medium is converted into work of actuating mechanism. Heat-sensitive actuating medium is used in the form of liquid continuously kept in liquid phase during the entire working cycle. Actuating medium is expanded by pulses. Work of actuating medium expansion is converted into kinetic energy of inertial member after which kinetic energy of inertial member is converted into mechanical energy of actuating mechanism.
