FIELD: heat-power engineering. SUBSTANCE: flameless combustion heater has fuel reservoir with neck and plug, burner in which heating element-frame is mounted and two metal screens with gasket made from asbestos wool soaked in catalyst; asbestos or fabric wick and lower screen are separated by layer of asbestos wool; upper part of wick is smoothly laid under screen and lower part is placed on bottom of fuel reservoir; free space in reservoir is filled with wool: heater is also provided with metal cover, handle and lock; in center of burner housing there is hole to let air to surface of heating element; several wicks are located over circumference; heat exchanger mounted above heating element consists of cylindrical part changing into cone forming shell-and- tube heat exchanger fitted branch pipe of varying length for discharge of reaction products; thermoelectric batteries are mounted on cylindrical part of exchanger. EFFECT: possibility of using proposed heater in enclosed spaces; ease in use; extended functional capabilities; fire safety. 2 dwg
