FIELD: measurement technology; measurement of linear displacements of various objects used for automation of production processes and robotics. SUBSTANCE: bush is mounted in core-concentrator coaxially relative to it. Other bush is fitted rotatable at eccentricity in first one. Member made in form of cylinder from ferromagnetic material is fitted in second bush at same eccentricity for performing axial displacement. Proposed sensor is made in two versions: according to first version, cylindrical member is made from magnetically hard material and bushes are made from ferromagnetic or diamagnetic material and according to second version,. Cylindrical member is made from magnetically soft material and bushes are made from diamagnetic material.
