FIELD: biological purification of sewage. SUBSTANCE: proposed aerator has cylindrical housing, air duct, telescopic packing connected with rod movable along housing, air distributor made in form of circular chamber around upper portion of housing with holes in its inner wall; air duct is tangentially connected to air distributor and nozzle with inner curvilinear helical guide fitted at the end. Circular chamber is provided with pulser made in form of double-bend bimetallic plates (no less than four plates) which are loose fit on axle rigidly secured to cylindrical housing. Holes found in inner wall of circular chamber are helical in shape. Lower part of rod is provided with blades. EFFECT: reduced power requirements; increased depth of aeration. 4 dwg
