FIELD: sugar production. SUBSTANCE: lime milk sample at temperature 22-28 C is weighed, solid lime particles are separated from dispersion medium by centrifugation followed by reduced pressure-assisted filtration. Weighed quantity of filtrate is titrated by 0.1 M hydrochloric acid solution in presence of phenolphthalein. Content of active lime in lime milk is calculated according to formula. EFFECT: increased determination accuracy, accelerated and simplified determination procedure. 1 tbl
