FIELD: oil and gas industry, technological attachment run into well on string of pipes. SUBSTANCE: arresting device includes coupling in the form of ring with internal annular groove and radial holes for insertion of arresting device into annular groove. Arresting device has fixing ribs, body of device comes in the form of single- side wedge. Fixing ribs are made in the form of grooves and protrusions having triangular shape in section. Grooves and protrusions are set in longitudinal direction on side of inclined surface. Arresting device is manufactured from flexible metal which fixing ribs are produced from metal harder than material of pipes. EFFECT: increased reliability of anchoring downhole equipment run into well on string of pipes, prevention of emergency situations. 5 dwg
