CABLE-LAYING MACHINE Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: coal mining industry, mechanization of operations for installation of flexible mains supplying electricity, water, working fluid, control signals to mobile mining equipment with laying of cable on machine. SUBSTANCE: cable-laying machine includes screw with left- and right-hand threads mounted for rotation from shaft of drum via chain or gear transmission, carriage mounted for movement along screw pitch and guides to extreme positions where it changes direction of pitch, guiding and pressure rollers put on it, cable laid between them and reeled up on drum, slider installed in groove of screw for sliding along thread. Carriage is equipped with guiding bushing and bracket mounted for sliding along additional guides with the aid of bushings put on them and arranged in parallel to lead screw. Axle of pressure roller is set horizontally, guiding roller is placed under it. Slider includes cylindrical part located in ring seized between two spherical surfaces, one surface belongs to bracket and the other surface belongs to guiding bushing. EFFECT: increased amount of cable coiled on drum, enhanced reeling up and out convenience thanks to vertical arrangement of rollers, expanded application field of machine. 3 dwg
