FIELD: mechanical engineering; multistage planetary reduction gears. SUBSTANCE: proposed reduction gear has high-speed and slow-speed stages series connected to each other and arranged in split section housing. Reduction gear is made on basis of simple three-member planetary gear trains, each consisting of carrier with fitted-on planet pinions and two central wheels (sun and ring ones) with external and internal teeth whose axes of rotation coincide with axis of rotation of carrier. Reduction gear has also members for axial and radial locking of stage members, breather, filler-and-check drain plugs. Design peculiarities of housing and parts of planetary gear trains and their axial and radial locking member made it possible to reduce number of component parts to minimum with practically complete dispersing with sliding surfaces. EFFECT: reduced to minimum overall dimensions of reduction gear, provision of high weight characteristics, reliability in operation, facilitated assembling and disassembling and high efficiency. 8 cl, 29 dwg
