FIELD: lifting and transportation engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanisms for turning posts of slewing gears of crane-and-manipulator plants of high load capacity mounted on chassis of vehicles. Proposed mechanism installed through bearings in seat on fixed base of slewing gear contains mechanical gear train with drive from hydraulic motor. Mechanical gear train is made open on base of spur gearing consisting of gear wheel and drive gear installed outside and mechanically coupled with each other. Drive gear is mechanically coupled with output shaft of hydraulic motor through two-stage planetary reduction gear mounted over drive gear and it is cantilever mounted on shank of reduction gear output shaft. Design and fastening members of reduction gear and mechanism power circuit as a whole, main lines delivering working liquid to and from hydraulic motor, electric control circuits, mechanical protection of gear train, etc, are optimized with due account of load capacity of crane-and-manipulator plant and provision of high weight efficiency. Invention makes it possible to create compact high torque post turning mechanism of slewing gear of high load capacity crane-and-manipulator plant with unlimited angle of turning and high weight efficiency.
