SUBSTANCE: method is implemented for example in electric drive with three-stage planetary reduction gear, in which torque moment is transmitted from high-speed shaft (6) to low-speed shaft (20) by means of in-series installed planetary gear sets with gaps between them. Rotation of carrier (16) of intermediate planetary gear set (7) is performed simultaneously with axle (24) one end of which is an integral part of the above carrier, and its other end is installed on bearing assembly (25) fixed in carrier body (17) of low-speed planetary gear set (8). Gaps between planetary gear sets are regulated by movement of bearing assembly on the thread along reduction gear axis owing to the access provided to it on the side of low-speed shaft.

EFFECT: invention allows increasing the efficiency, improving reliability and weight and overall dimensions of the device used for the method's implementation.
