FIELD: thermal engineering; heat supply systems. SUBSTANCE: delivery water is supplied to system over delivery pipeline and discharged from system over return pipeline; heat load of system is controlled by varying delivery water flowrate through heating system with aid of flow regulator mounted on return pipeline downstream of heating system; pressure control installed upstream of heating system is used to maintain heating-system pressure within desired limits. In this way delivery water pressure in delivery pipeline of heating system is maintained within limits dictated by mechanical strength of heating appliances. Measures are taken to prevent emptying of heating system through heating-system return pipeline. EFFECT: enhanced operating reliability of heating system. 1 dwg
