FIELD: thermal engineering. SUBSTANCE: operating process of thermal power plant includes heating of delivery water returned from users with steam bled off main heating-system heaters of extraction turbines. During peak heat demand periods delivery water is heated due to using thermal capacity of peak-demand water boilers. Delivery water leaks in heat supply system are replenished by introducing makeup water. Feedwater, steam, and condensate loss in steam- water line of plant is compensated for by demineralized and deaerated emergency feedwater delivered to feedwater line of steam boilers. Feedwater is passed through feedwater deaerator and supplied to steam boilers. During peak heat demand periods delivery water is additionally heated in surface water-to-water heat exchangers with water heated in water boilers and forced through closed circulating loop incorporating water boilers and surface water- to-water heat exchangers, Delivery-water leaks from closed loop are replenished by makeup water extracted downstream of feedwater deaerator. EFFECT: improved reliability and economic efficiency of plant. 1 dwg
