FIELD: optical instrumentation, comparative analysis of objects, specifically, identification studies in criminal science. SUBSTANCE: proposed microscope has two comparison branches 1 and 6, unit 25 to bring into coincidence image fields that includes beam splitter 30 with beam- splitting face 33 made of three sections having semi-transparent 34, specular reflecting 35 and clear 36 for light surfaces and unit 9 for observation and recording which incorporates lens 10, additional device 11 to change magnification, changing-over mirror 15, visual 16, television 19 and photographic 22 channels. There are given variants of implementation of microscope and device 11. EFFECT: design of comparison microscope securing identity of relative positions of fragments of images of examined objects with change of magnification of microscope. 5 cl, 4 dwg
