FIELD: automotive industry; sun visors. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices designed for protection of driver from sun rays and bright light on the road and at parking. Said sun visor has body for accommodating turning and fixing mechanism. Axle of visor turning is secured by one end in body being fastened by means of spring and is installed by other end in bracket holding visor on automobile body movably mean by means of ball joint. Two flats are made on visor turning axle, and stops are provided in body. Energy absorbing layer of visor is made of simirigid foamed polyurethane, and outer part of weld joint of visor facing is made flush with visor. Housing of turning and fixing mechanism is made integral with visor frame. EFFECT: provision of convenient, reliable and durable sun visor safe and easy to manufacture. 3 cl, 6 dwg
