FIELD: treatment of natural water, purification of sewage, geothermal and associated oil field water carrying organic substances, for instance, phenol and humus substances in oil, gas and other branches of industry. SUBSTANCE: purification is conducted by integration of biological and electrolysis processes in electrolyzer in the course of two hours. Amount of electricity transmitted through one liter of treated water amounts to 0.03 A/h. EFFECT: increased degree of purification of water by all biological and chemical components and surface active substances. 1 tbl
