Method of preparing oxidized vegetable oils involves oxidation of semi-drying oils with air oxygen in the presence of pyropolymeric phthalocyanine or melamine-formaldehyde chelates of metals of transient valence Co, Mn, Ni, Fe applied on solid inert carriers at temperature 130-160 C, in blowing through with air 40 t-1 up to attainment viscosity value 960-1340 s.
