FIELD: organic chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: claimed method includes polymerization of unsaturated compounds of liquid product cut from straight-distillate gasoline pyrolysis boiled off at 130-190°C. In reaction mass after 2 h from petroleum polymer resin synthesis beginning in presence of metal complex catalyst based on titanium tetrachloride and organoaluminum compound (i.e. diethylaluminum chloride, triethylaluminum, triisobutylaluminum chloride) drying or semidrying oil in introduced in mole ratio of 1:(0.1-10) at 70-90°C in amount of 5-10 %, and synthesis is carried out for 1 h, then catalyst is neutralized with 1,2-epoxypropane to produce clear solution of film-forming agent.
EFFECT: one-step process with mild conditions without release of oxidized vegetable oil and petroleum polymer resin, useful in production of clear drying oils.
