SUBSTANCE: device has hermetic housing, heating unit with heating sections, cooling loop, capsule with starting material mounted in holders and loading hatch, framework where motion drive is mounted; motion drive includes motion screw with nut and geared motor; device is also provided with parallel guides on which movable carriage is placed; this carriage holds heating unit with heating sections, magnetic inductor, cooling loop, electric drive provided with at least one plug and socket connector whose one part is placed on movable carriage and other is found on heating unit; device is provided with taper joint whose outer part is connected with carriage and inner part is connected with heating unit which is provided with guide runners and is mounted for motion in guide slots of carriage; framework is connected with housing by means of oscillation dampening unit. EFFECT: universality of plant due to changeable heating units; possibility of performing various technological processes of melting at high-temperature gradients under conditions of minimum action of microgravitation; wide spectrum of high-quality materials. 5 cl, 8 dwg
