FIELD: materials technology; space engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has hermetic housing with heating sections and heat insulation where cooling loop and magnetic inductor are mounted. Control equipment is mounted on the outside. Hermetic housing is connected with capsule loading mechanism provided with pusher and motion drive, capsule magazine with turn drive and capsule identification unit. Heating sections are mounted on plate. Perforated fire tube secured to plate runs through heating sections along axis of heating unit. Fire tube is mounted in immediate proximity of heating element. Thermoelectric transducers (thermocouples) are mounted in passages running over external generatrices of fire tube. Each passage contains two thermocouples. Capsule loading-unloading unit includes magazine with turn drive; magazine contains 12 capsules. In the course of operating cycle, each capsule moves from loading-unloading unit to heating unit (idle run) and vice versa during working stroke and gets subjected to melting and re-crystallization. Capsule identification unit is made in form of disk with set of cover plates fitted at definite combination. During turn of magazine, they get in contact with limit switches with whose help identification is effected. According to another version, capsule identification unit is made in form of disk having cuts over perimeter. During turn of magazine, cut or solid part of disk gets in slots of opto-isolators which perform identification of capsule. Proposed device ensures repeated melting processes at reliable control in automatic mode of operation. EFFECT: reduced usage of metal. 5 cl, 12 dwg
