FIELD: gas treatment and oxidation catalysts. SUBSTANCE: objective of invention consists in increasing degree of oxidation of carbon monoxide in hydrogen- containing gases to a level below 10 ppm. For that, more active and selective catalysts based on precious metals (platinum, palladium, ruthenium, rhodium, iridium), preferably ruthenium and platinum, are used deposited on graphite- like carbon carrier in amounts at least 0.01 wt %, preferably 0.05-5% wt %, as well as catalysts based on mixtures of the same precious metals containing two or more metals deposited on the same carbon carrier at summary concentration of metals at least 0.01 wt %.
