FIELD: rolled stock production, namely processes for making low-carbon cold rolled thin steel strips.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of hot rolling at predetermined temperature values tt of hot rolling and coiling termination; further cold rolling at predetermined value ε of total percentage reduction. At carbon content of steel [C] = 0.007 - 0.020 vol.% temperature of rolling process termination is normalized by means of mathematical relation. Value of total percentage reduction is selected in range 71 - 73%. Temperature of coiling after hot rolling may be in range 545±15°C.
EFFECT: enhanced ductility and forging capability, improved consumer's properties of steel.
