FIELD: city rail transport. SUBSTANCE: proposed device has logic stage connected with tram turning signal receiver, running first and second detectors and power commutator connected with contact wire and electric drive. Detectors are arranged in series between rails in direction of tram running. Tram turning signal receiver is located before first detector. Second detector is installed between rails after electric drive in direction of tram running. Logic stage has turning signal processing logic unit, tramway switch change-over prohibit unit and control signal forming unit. Output of turning signal receiver is connected to first input of turning signal processing logic unit whose outputs are connected to inputs of control signal forming unit. One of outputs of the latter is connected to input of said prohibit unit, and others are connected to control inputs of commutator. Prohibit unit is placed in feedback circuit of series-connected turning signal processing logic unit and control signal forming unit. Outputs of first and second detectors are connected to other corresponding inputs of prohibit. EFFECT: improved reliability of transmission of information indicating non-occupied state of switch zone, and blocking of tramway switch when tram passes the switch. 4 cl, 5 dwg
