FIELD: optical instrumentation, large telescopes with altazimuth mounting. SUBSTANCE: optical device has base, plug with hollow pin put on base for turning around azimuthal axis, central piece with optical unit mounted in plug for turning around angle-of-elevation axis, units and drives of rotation carrying moment motors including stator and rotor, adjustment radial bearing support, reflecting elements and optical equipment. Reflecting elements form two beam guides with common initial sections whose axis is matched with azimuthal axis. Axis of next to last section is matched with angle-of-elevation axis. Rotation units of central piece are manufactured in the form of tubular half-axles. One of them has free end connected to rotor. Lower end of pin comes in the form spherical pivot mounted for interaction with thrust bearing. Cable passage from plug to base is passed through pin.
