FIELD: wood-working industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves forming pack of planks, which are arranged in vertical position; providing controllable air circulation through pack of planks by directing air flow from the bottom to the top along board patches and ribs; coating plank ends and parts of patches with aqueous emulsion substance providing good adhesion to wet plank wood, with said substance being applied in the form of strip extending from one to the other end of plank above uncut annual rings of outer patch; applying said substance to internal part of plank patch, with said substance being applied in the form of strip extending from one to the other end of plank, in symmetry with respect to strip applied to outer part of plank patch. Method may be used in wood-working industry, furniture production and etc. Method provides for uniform drying of planks, increased drying rate, eliminates board shrinkage and crack formation. Also, wood produced by said method does not absorb moisture from air. EFFECT: simplified method, increased efficiency and wider range of use. 2 dwg
