FIELD: wood-working industry, furniture production, construction of houses. SUBSTANCE: method involves forming packs of planks, with planks being arranged in vertical position; providing mechanical air circulation in plank pack, with air flows being directed from the bottom to the top along plank patches and ribs; covering plank ends with aqueous emulsion substance possessing good adhesiveness to wet plank wood. Method provides for uniform drying of planks at increased drying rate without plank warpage and cracking. Also, wood dried by said method does not absorb moisture from air. EFFECT: increased efficiency and wider range of use. 1 dwg
