FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machining of articles by cutting tools and production and operation of cutting tools. Proposed cutting tool is made of steel or hard alloy. To improve wear resistance by absorbing, dissipation and preventing of formation and dispersion of surface ultrasonic vibrations, proposed tool is provided with coating or at least one element absorbing said vibrations.
