FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: gravitational separator has feeder, separating funnel made in the form of single-cavity hyperboloid of rotation and equipped with central elastic head having branch pipe, and discharge device. Feeder is made in the form of inverted truncated cone hung on shock absorbers. Screens positioned in upper part of separating funnel are formed as individual semicircular troughs mounted on springs and arranged with 10% inclination toward widening heads positioned in parallel with separating funnel generatrix. At least four widening heads are used in separator. Each head has curved helical guides arranged on its internal surface. Widening heads are attached to screens through branch pipes. Screens are gardened with parapet wall. Pressure regulator is joined to air supply branch pipe. Apparatus may be used for minerals concentration, in particular, for concentration of ores and alluvial deposits, as well as for sorting of various dry materials.
