FIELD: ferrous metallurgy, particularly, methods of production of cast iron with high content of carbon. SUBSTANCE: method includes passing of liquid metal through layer of heated product of combustion of gas-oxygen mixture of carbon-containing carburizing material and its subsequent dissolving in liquid cast iron. Carburizer layer is given rotary motion round axis of supplied metal, for which purpose, carburizer is placed into rotating refractory shell to whose upper layers, gas-oxygen flame is directed. EFFECT: increased degree of carbon assimilation by a factor of 1.1-1.2. 1 dwg, 1 ex
