FIELD: ocean exploration. SUBSTANCE: sounding is conducted without any limitation of rate of dive and lift of device. Information is recorded continuously when device is sunk or lifted. Interpolation of data received from measurement channels interrogated in turn by one and same time moment during measurement cycle is carried out in process of primary processing of received information. Random errors are filtered off. Then average value of two measurements obtained on one horizon with downward and upward motion of hydrological sonde is computed. EFFECT: decreased time and ensured authenticity of generated information. 3 dwg
