FIELD: collimators for gamma-boxes and other radiation devices. SUBSTANCE: parallel holes of desired shape to suit their layout in collimator body are obtained by placing set of rods in tray with cavity of desired shape meant to receive filling compound, arrangement of rods being in compliance with layout of holes in collimator; rods placed in tray are potted in metal compound, the latter is cooled down, and then all rods are pulled out of compound. EFFECT: enhanced productive capacity of process.
