FIELD: physics; measurement.

SUBSTANCE: application: for materials radiation testing. Substance: consists that gamma-ray flaw detector contains emitter radiant head, radiation shielding unit, drum collimator with number of collimation channels, and beam release and overlap and rotary collimator drive. Gamma-ray flaw detector is designed as set of multiple configurable mating replacement units with available in-process dismountability and modification of dimensions and configuration with clamps (lugs and latches) used to aggregate radiation shielding unit, emitter radiant head and drum collimator within radio-protective shield. Interchangeable step drum collimator detachable from radio-protective shield includes cylinders of various external diameters increasing as far as distance from radiation source grows. Diameters of collimation channels are determined by specified beam angle. Light source is mounted between radiation source and collimator on the axis of collimation channel in radiant flux.

EFFECT: provided universality of flaw detector, as well as higher reliability of materials analysis for structure and defects.
