BEE FEED PREPARING LINE Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: apiculture, in particular, production of pelletized and coated bee feed. SUBSTANCE: line has two parallel runs for preparing dry and liquid component phases and transporting to single mixer. First run has dry component mixer, accumulating hopper, micro mill and dosing device, and second line has honey melting bath and liquid component dosing device. Single mixer is made in the form of pelleting boiler and is adapted for mixing both component phases to form granules formed as pellets, which are fed by conveyor with controlled time intervals into apparatus for applying protective coat (wax, paraffin) to pellets. Ready, coated pellets are directed by means of discharge conveyor to storage house for further bee feeding. EFFECT: increased efficiency and improved quality of bee feed by preventing it from drying during storage and feeding. 4 cl, 6 dwg
