METHOD FOR FIXATION OF DERMOTRANSPLANT Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: the method includes suturing and fixing the transplant to connective tissue in area of substituted defect. Pretreated fragment is put down, pressed and turned up for the angle of 180 deg. and pressed again. Then the fragment is sutured with stitches in cross-sectional direction at the distance of 30 mm against each ligature along the total width. Both ends of the ligature should be fixed to connective tissue. At suturing one should use antibacterial suturing material. The method creates fixation of dermotransplant at desired interval between ligatures, provides lower tissue tension of autodermotransplant and improves its adaptation.
