FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: skin flap is dissected and hernial sac is isolated without peeling its walls from the hernial orifice with subsequent reduction it into the abdominal cavity to create a "biological tampon". The hernial orifice is sutured with synthetic yarn with antibacterial impregnation, followed by its removal. The seam is overcast of horizontal-looped-shaped with mutually capturing stitches and double yarns forming musculo-aponeurotic duplication, with the capture from one side of the wall of the hernial sac, musculo-aponeurotic layers of the abdominal wall, subcutaneous tissue, superficial fascia, subcutaneous muscle and skin, and from the other side - the wall of the hernial sac, musculo-aponeurotic layers of the abdominal wall and subcutaneous tissue without capturing the superficial fascia and subcutaneous muscle and skin with simultaneous suturing the wall of hernial sac to the inner surface of the abdominal wall. Then the skin edges of the incisional wound are joined by interrupted sutures, followed by complete removal of the suture material on 14-16 day after the operation.
EFFECT: method prevents septic complications after hernia repair.
