BACTERICIDAL AGENT "IODOVIDON" AND METHOD OF ITS PREPARING Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: chemical-pharmaceutical industry, pharmacy. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to bactericidal agent "Iodovinon" that presents complex PVP-mHJx containing 1% of active iodine of molecular mass 30 000-40 000 Da and total content of impurities less 2% as solution or powder. Also, invention proposes method of preparing this complex that involves polymerization of n-vinylpyrrolidone in the presence of butanol as solvent and 2,2-azodiisobutyric acid as initiating agent. Synthesized polyvinylpyrrolidone is extracted into aqueous layer and iodine butanol solution is added. Then mixture is heated, butanol is distilled off and aqueous solution of formed PVP- mHJx is dried or packaged as 1% solution by active iodine. Invention provides preparing "Iodovinon" in dry (powder) or liquid form and to increase storage time up to 2 and more years. EFFECT: valuable properties of agent, improved method of preparing. 5 cl
