FIELD: mineral concentration. SUBSTANCE: method includes supply of pulp onto inclined upper run of moving endless belt, treatment of pulp with magnetic field for formation of sedimentation structure from pulp ferromagnetic particles with simultaneous sedimentation of gold on given structure and unloading of concentrate. Stationary magnetic field is used for treatment of material on lower section of belt upper run, and variable magnetic field is used for treatment of material on upper section. Magnetic members setting-up stationary magnetic field are moved in synchronism with belt. Device for recovery of gold includes endless belt installed on drums. Upper run of endless belt is inclined to horizon. Device also includes drive, magnetic system for setting-up stationary and variable magnetic fields, means for supply of pulp, water and reception of concentrate. Magnetic system for setting-up of stationary magnetic field includes a row of magnetic members forming flexible endless chain and embraces lower drum under belt and intermediate drum installed under belt upper run.
