FIELD: data processing of results of three-dimensional seismic surveys. SUBSTANCE: reflected signals are recorded in some window on seismic recording obtained in process of three-dimensional survey. Paths are indexed by reflection point, each path presents recording from pair " source-geophone " having different azimuthal angles. Process in correspondence with one variant includes: indexing aggregate of paths by values of distance, construction of practically conical surface having major and minor axes by data taken from paths inside window. Major axis of cone presents azimuthal direction in which minimal variations of characteristics of reflected signals are noted and minor axis presents azimuthal direction having largest variations of characteristics of reflected signals. This surface is referenced to coordinate system which is correlated with geometry of system of observations in given survey and study of variations of characteristics of reflected signals depending on distance and azimuth of seismic ray. EFFECT: increased accuracy of process. 27 cl, 11 dwg
