FIELD: geophysics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to geophysics and can be used for seismic survey. Standard observation system is selected, containing sources of seismic signals, located on the surface of excitation and receivers of seismic signals, located on surveyed surface as well as rate of seismic survey. Size of seismic survey bin is selected for reflecting boundaries and the reflecting boundary is divided to bins of selected size. Rays of each receiver are traced in each bin on reflecting boundary by computer simulation and the reflected beam is continued from the reflecting boundary up to excitation surface. Using a computer program the density of sources on excitation surface is calculated taking into account the calculated density of sources on excitation surface for the selected survey system providing the specified fold.

EFFECT: technical result is increased accuracy and reliability of geological object identification.
