FIELD: low-voltage circuit-opening devices for overload and short-circuit protection of electric circuits. SUBSTANCE: circuit breaker has case, arc-control chamber, fixed and movable contact members, and overcurrent release made in the form of magnetic core with coil. Coil former accommodates ferromagnetic bowl holding heat-sensing liquid and spring-loaded rod. End of rod is free to actuate disconnecting bar of trip-free mechanism through bushing loosely mounted on protruding end of rod. Upper end of bushing is spaced through certain clearance from end of ferromagnetic bowl; its lower end rests on disconnecting bar made in the form of single-arm lever. Movable contact member is connected to magnetic-coil core through short jumper. EFFECT: reduced size, enhanced operating precision and reliability, reduced material input. 4 cl, 3 dwg
