OVERCURRENT THERMAL RELEASE Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

Abstract RU 2207650 C1

FIELD: electrical engineering; circuit-opening devices. SUBSTANCE: overcurrent thermal release has bimetal member whose loose end mounts adjusting unit in the form of double-strip single-metal arm with two flat sections formed by asymmetric neck. One of arm sections having rectangular outline is secured on loose end of bimetal member and other one having curvilinear outline is developed over neck relative to first one through angle affording actuation of circuit-breaker trip-free mechanism wiper. EFFECT: simplified design and adjustment procedure; enhanced reliability at continuous high impact and vibration loads. 4 cl, 6 dwg
